CAUTION:

Don't install the 2027 tax table update until W-2s and all State and Federal Tax forms are complete.

Supported versions include the latest version release plus one release back.

Version 2025 and newer

  • Tax year 2027 updates are in Sage BusinessWorks 2025 SP6 and Version 2026 SP2.
  • For instructions to correct a tax update installed before printing W-2s, see the early tax update correction guide.
  • Updated W-2, 1099, and 940 tax forms are available from December 20 of the current year.

Version 2024 and earlier

  • If you are on an unsupported version of the software, manually update the tax tables.
  • For Federal taxes, use the annual tables provided by the IRS.
  • For State taxes, use annual tables provided by the state tax agency.
  • For any questions about the tax tables, contact your tax advisor.
