To display the tools, click the [Tools] button in the Estimating Management Console. Notes: - You must run the Back Up and Restore processes from your server machine. These tools are not available when you use the Estimating Management Console on a workstation.
- The Back Up, Restore, Merge, and Optimize processes lock out other users. To prevent a loss of data, ensure that no other users are working with the databases you plan to back up, restore, merge, or optimize.
- You must indicate that you have exclusive use of the databases before you can back up, restore, merge or optimize databases.
