 NOTE: The steps below are for locating the serial number of the version you currently have installed. If you're upgrading to a new version, the new version will have a new serial number. See How to find the serial number to locate the new serial number. 

  1. Select Help, About Sage 50 Accounting.
  2. The currently used serial number appears near the bottom of the About Sage 50 Accounting window.
