If your serial number doesn't prefill when installing Sage 50 Accounting, do the following: Check your email: An email containing your Serial Number and account information gets sent to the primary contact on your account. The header is "Important information on your Sage 50 software". It's possible that the email went into the Spam or Junk folder, so be sure to check there as well. If you don't see the email: Follow the instructions below to locate your serial number on your account. Purchased directly from Sage - Log in to the Customer Portal. If you're new to Sage, sign up for Customer Portal.
- Select Product information, then My active Services and Plans.
- Under Activation Codes, select Active and use the Serial and Activation code for the Application (version) that you're installing.
- Once installed, open Sage 50 to activate.
- If the activation prompt doesn't appear, select Help, Sage 50 Activation, Licensing and Subscription Options.
- Select Activate Online Now (recommended).
