Record Entries crashed and left an out of balance batch in General Ledger
Description
Making a one sided entry can cause General Ledger to be out of balance, before recording one sided entries it is advisable to review article 17736 "DocLink: How do I reconcile General Ledger if it is out of balance?". One sided entries are typically used to complete a previously posted out of balance transaction when a portion of the entry is missing.

Resolution

Option 1 - Record a correcting entry and post both out of balance batches:
