How to log in without the 2-factor authentication (2FA) device

 NOTE: When you log in with your recovery code, you'll get a new one. Be sure to save the new recovery code in a safe and easily accessible place. 

Locate your recovery code

  • You received your recovery code when you first set up your 2-factor authentication (2FA)
  • If you don't receive your verification email or text, there are a few things you can check
  • The code is 24 digits, containing a mix of letters and numbers, for example
    VNDS - 79KB - 7JAJ - QNKA - F4F7 - YUPX
     NOTE:  If you've lost your recovery code or don't have access to the device, contact Sage support 

Log in using recovery code

  1. When asked to enter the code on the 2-factor authentication log-in screen, click Verify a different way instead.

  2. Select Recovery code.

  3. Enter your recovery code.

Log in with a voice call

  1. When asked to enter the code on the 2-factor authentication log-in screen, click get a call.

  2. You will receive a phone call to the number we have on record.
  3. Press a number to receive your code.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code you received in the space provided.

No longer have access to the device

  • If you've lost your recovery code or don't have access to the device, contact Sage support 
     NOTE: If you find the device later no longer want to use 2FA, you can remove it.
