Integration to sage Intacct only for Estimating 22.1 and later

Open Sage Intacct as a Systems Administrator


A. To Verify “Web Service Authorization”

1.From “Intacct“
2.Click, “Applications” (dropdown)
3.Click, “Company” (in dropdown)
4.Click, “Setup” (tab)
5.Click, “Security” (tab)
6.Scroll, to “Web Services authorizations
7.Verify “SageEST” Sender ID “exists”
8.Verify “SageEST” Status is “active”
9.If "SageEST does not exist” (proceed below)

B. To Setup “Web Service Authorization“

1.Click, “Edit” (bar across top)
2.Scroll Down, to “Web Services authorizations
3.Click “Add” (above Sender ID)
4.Type, “SageEST” (case sensitive)
5.Type, “Sage Estimating Web Sender” ( default description)
6.Toggle, “Active” (as status)
7,Click, “Save” (bar across top)

C. Minimum “Permissions” for Estimators to send Estimates to Projects

Create an Estimator Role
1.From “Intacct
2.Click, “Company” (in dropdown)
3.Click, “Admin” (tab)
4.Click, “Roles” (menu)
5.Click, “Add” (bar across top)
6. Type, “Estimator” (default name)
7. Type, “Sage Estimator User” (default description)
8,Click, “Save” (white bar across top)

Estimator – Role Setup (Administration)
1.Select, Administration (role)
2.Click, Permissions (blue link)
4.Next to “Application Subscriptions
^Select these 1 options for those 1 roles
5.Click, View (check box)
6.Click, Save (bar across top)

1.Type, (The users information)
2.Click, Business (under User Type)
3. Scroll, to “Admin Privileges

E. Integrating Estimating to Intacct.
Estimators use “Users” or “Web Services Users” credentials when integrating Estimating to Intacct.

3.Select, “Standard Database” you want to integrate
4.Scroll, to “Job Cost Information
5.Select, “Sage Intacct”(dropdown)

7.Enter, your “Company ID”, “User ID”, ”Password
8.Map, your Cost types L M S E O
9.Check, “Add Cost Types to Items
^ so the sage intact cost types will be added to each item category the sage estimating database
