Preparing Sage Intacct Construction for integration with Estimating You need to set up the following information in Sage Intacct Construction: - Standard tasks in Intacct. Tasks correspond to Job Cost Phases in Estimating.
In Intacct Construction, make sure there is a task for each job cost phase used in standard databases you plan to integrate with Intacct Construction. When you set up a standard database item in Estimating, for each category, you'll need to enter an Intacct task ID corresponding to the job cost phase. (For example, you might set up G01-041 as a Project Supervision task in Intacct.) Note: Use unique descriptions for each standard task. - Standard cost types in Intacct. Cost types correspond to categories in Estimating.
In Intacct Construction, make sure there is a cost type for each category in standard databases that you will integrate with Intacct Construction. When you set up a standard database item in Estimating, for each category, you also need to enter an Intacct Construction cost type ID corresponding to the job cost category in Estimating. (For example, you might set up LAB as the labor cost type in Intacct.) - Estimating users in Intacct User Information
Set up Estimating users who will be exporting estimate data to Intacct Construction as follows: - On the User Information tab:
- For Admin Privileges, select Full or Limited.
- For User Type, select Business.
- On the Roles Information tab, if your Sage Intacct Construction company uses role-based permissions, assign roles that provide permission to administer projects.
- On the User Entities tab, assign top level or particular entities.
