How do I add the Project Management correspondence log toolbar to my Microsoft Office applications?
Description
You can only add items to the Project Management Correspondence Log from the following areas in Microsoft Outlook:
  • Inbox
  • Sent Items
  • Deleted Items
Cause
The correspondence log toolbar may not appear on the Microsoft application toolbar if Microsoft Office is installed after Sage 300 CRE.
Resolution

These steps are workstation specific and will need to be performed on each workstation that requires access to the correspondence log toolbar.

  1. Exit all Microsoft Office applications.
    Note: It may be necessary to use Windows Task Manager to close open Microsoft Office applications.
  2. Select Start, Run.
  3. Type: regsvr32 "X:\Program Files\Timberline Office\SHARED\pjCorrLogAddin.dll"
    Note
    : Your actual path may be different from the path listed above. For example, Windows 7 workstations may have "X:\Program Files (x86)\Timberline Office\SHARED\pjCorrLogAddin.dll" The PjCorrLogAddin.dll file is located in the Shared folder beneath your Timberline folder.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Click OK at message: "DllregisterServer in X:\Program Files\Timberline Office\Shared\pjCorrLogAddin.dll succeeded."
  6. Verify the Add to Log button is now available in Microsoft Office.
