How do I troubleshoot the Correspondence Log Add to Log Function in Microsoft Office?

If after performing the solutions below you are unable to access the Add to Log feature when other users or workstations are able to access the feature, delete your registry information for Project Management Correspondence Log as follows:

  1. Exit all Microsoft Office and Sage applications.
    Note: It may be necessary to use Windows Task Manager to close open Microsoft Office applications. For more information, see the link below.
  2. From the Windows Start menu, select Run or in the search box enter Run and select Run.
  3. In the Open box, enter Regedit and click OK.
  4. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Timberline\Project Management.
  5. Highlight the Correspondence Log  folder.  Right-click and select Rename to change the name of the folder (For example, Correspondence LogOLD).
  6. Close the Registry Editor.

If after completing the above steps you are still unable to access the Add to Log feature in Microsoft Office, contact Customer Support.
