How do I verify that PJ Correspondence Log is enabled in Microsoft Office?

For Microsoft Office 2003:

  1. From the Microsoft Help menu, select About Microsoft (for example, About Microsoft Outlook) and Click Disabled Items.
  2. Select PJ Add to Log.
  3. Click Enable.
  4. Click OK to close the Help window.
  5. Exit and then restart the Microsoft Office application.

For Microsoft Office 2007:

  1. From the Microsoft Outlook Tools menu, select Disabled Items (if Disabled Items menu item is not available, move to step 4)
  2. Select PJ Add to Log.
  3. Click Enable.
  4. From the Tools menu, select Trust Center, Add-ins.
  5. For other Microsoft Office 2007 Applications, click the Microsoft Office button, Options, Add-Ins.
  6. If the PJ Correspondence Log is not listed in the Active Add-ins:
    1. From the Manage list, select COM Add-ins.
    2. Select the check box for PJ Correspondence Log and click OK.

For Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013:

  1. From the Microsoft Outlook File menu, select Options, Trust Center, Trust Center Settings, Macro Settings.
  2. Check the box for Installed Add-ins, then click OK.
  3. Close and reopen Outlook and click Yes when prompted to enable the application add-ins for PJ Correspondence Log.
  4. If this does not resolve the issue, perform the following steps also:
    1. In Outlook, go to File, Options.
    2. Select Add-Ins.
    3. If the PJ Corresponence Log is listed under Disabled Add-ins:
      1. From the Manage list, select Disabled Items and click Go.
      2. Select Sage.CRE.PJCorrLogExchangeAddin and click Enable.
    4. If the PJ Correspondence Log is not listed in the Active Add-ins:
      1. From the Manage list, select COM Add-ins and click Go.
      2. Select the check box for PJ Correspondence Log and click OK.

After performing the above steps, open Outlook, Word, or Excel and verify that the Add to Log button is now available in the Microsoft Office Add-Ins menu.
