Notes: Finding your Registration information:

  1. Login in to the Customer Portal at https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com and once logged in:
    • Click Product Information > My active Services and Plans
    • In the Select a product dropdown, select Sage Fixed Assets
    • Under Activation Codes, look for the Serial number under the Serial column
  2. If you can’t find the Customer number, Serial number and/or Activation code, contact Support Chat from the link below. You can also contact your Sales Rep.

Other Notes:

  • You don't need a new Activation Code when updating the product version
  • Sage 50 Fixed Assets and Lite Depreciation for Sage 50 don't have a registration process
  • For versions 2022.0 and higher: Sage Fixed Assets products can pull your registration information with only your customer number and serial number

Note Subscription Plans on renewal: The unlocking codes in Fusion or from the Customer Portal won’t update. If you're using the Sage Fixed Assets version 2021.1 or prior, Sage recommends updating. This will allow you to use the automated process to get the Subscription plan expiration date to advance properly. Otherwise you’ll need to contact support or your Sales rep to get an updated unlocking code.

Troubleshooting Automated Method errors:

  • Error: No internet connection: In the case of a server having no internet connection, use the Manual Method above. Alternatively, run the Production registration from the client as described in the Automated Method.
  • Unknown error from CE Entitlement: There’s another Sage Product on the account making the data too long resulting in a failure. Use the Manual Method above. This error can also occur if there’s no internet connection on the server.
  • Hmm...your customer account and product serial number were checked with Sage and this product is not registered. Please verify your Customer information on the Register dialog and check again. If you need account assistance, contact your Account Manager at 1-800-368-2405: This typically means you’re attempting to register a product you don’t have on your account (for example, Planning). Make sure you’re registering the correct product in the correct utility. Contact Live Chat if there are issues in the correct registration utility.
  • Customer number or serial number not found... Make sure you are registering the correct product in the correct utility with the correct customer number and Serial Number: Contact Live Chat if there are issues in the correct registration utility. There may be issues on the back end.
  • We encountered a problem and your software was not activated. Your Customer account was verified, however, the software activation code was not. Use Enter Code to manually enter your Activation Code, if known, or contact your Account Manager at 1-800-368-2405: The error means the system detected your Customer number, but the serial number and activation codes don’t match. Contact Live Chat to correct the issue.
  • Sage licensing service locked. You have exceeded the maximum number of attempts to register your product. Verify your Customer Number and Serial Number, and try again in 30 minutes. If you need account assistance, contact your Account Manager at 1-800-368-2405: Getting any of the above errors five times in a row will cause the portal to give this message. Contact Sage so we can provide the updated account information or fix the codes on the back-end. You’ll still need to wait the 30 minutes.
