| Generate Rent Roll ended unexpectedly and not all of the charges were created in Property Management |
Resolution |
Determine which point the process ended by viewing the Background Tasks, then proceed with the following:
- The Post Entries process of Generate Rent Roll is transaction wrapped. If the process ended unexpectedly during posting, select Tasks, Post Entries to post the remaining transactions.
- Tip: Obtain the Batch number from the unposted entries in Tasks, Post Entries, Ranges or in Inquiry, Transaction Information, New file. Then run a report (PM Reports, Reconciliation, Transactions by Lease) on New and Current files for the Batch number to confirm if the total charges match the amount from your Generate Rent Roll - Trial Run.
- If the Generate Rent Roll process ended before posting and/or not all the charges for the Batch are found in the New and Current files, you must restore to a backup of your data folder to guarantee the integrity of your data. The Generate Rent Roll process updates multiple records within your data folder. It is not possible to determine which records were updated and which records were not updated when the Generate Rent Roll task ends unexpectedly.
