The Sage BusinessWorks product doesn't have a built-in gross up calculator.  Use the ADP Gross Pay Calculator to determine the gross amount of the check.

Determine the net amount of the check

1. Determine the net amount of the check for each employee

Calculate the gross pay 

1. Use the ADP Gross Pay Calculator.
2. Enter the type of check. For example, Bonus.
3. Enter the net amount of the check and the pay date.
4. The ADP calculator will show an example of the calculated gross amount and taxes.

Process the timecard 

1. In Sage BusinessWorks, go to PR, Processing, Time Card Entry.
2. Select the employee.
3. Select your earnings type.
4. Enter the gross amount the ADP Gross Up Calculator calculated.

How to process bonus checks
