| How to import multiple reports or update existing reports using the Bulk Import/Update Reports Tool in Sage 100 Intelligence. |
Resolution | In Windows Explorer:
- Open Windows Explorer, create the following sub folders if folders do not exist:
-
- Under C:\Program Files\Sage Software\SMI, create sub folder = ReportUpdate
- Under C:\Program Files\Sage Software\SMI\ReportUpdate, create sub folder = en
- Under C:\Program Files\Sage Software\SMI\ReportUpdate\en, create sub folder = the name of the existing folder in Report Manager where you want to place the imported reports. (Example: C:\Program Files\Sage Software\SMI\ReportUpdate\en\TEST, TEST would be the sub folder name in Report Manager)
- Copy any .al_ files (the files to be imported) into the folder with the name of the existing folder in Report Manager. Note: If a report with same name already exists under the folder in Report Manager then it will be overwritten if the .al_file is newer than the report creation date or date it was last imported.
In Sage Intelligence:
- In Report Manager, click on the Home folder.
- Click on Tools / Bulk Import/Update Reports.
- Click Yes to proceed.
