| How to Upgrade (Import/Export) Sage 100 Intelligence reports |
Cause | Upgrading or reinstalling Sage Intelligence |
Resolution | [BCB:1:Backup warning:ECB]
Important Notes: - Only Sage 100 Intelligence (SI) reports created in the same or lower version of Sage 100 Intelligence can be imported. Examples:
- Reports created in 2014 version will not generate correctly if imported into SI 5.0, 4.50 or 4.40 versions
- Reports created in 4.50 version will import into 4.50, 2013 and 2014 versions.
- SI reports created in Premium (SQL) version are not compatible with Non-SQL SI versions and visa-versa.
- A NEW/separate report repository (share folder) must be created for EACH Sage Intelligence version.
- The compatible Sage 100 ERP version must be installed. Examples: (SI=Sage 100 Intelligence)
- SI 2014 = Sage 100 ERP 2014 **SI 2014 is automatically installed with Workstation Setup installation
- SI 2014 Premium = Sage 100 ERP Premium 2014
- SI 5.0 = Sage 100 ERP 2013
- SI 5.0 SQL = Sage 100 ERP Premium 2013
- SI 4.50 = Sage MAS 90/200 4.50
- SI 4.50 SQL = Sage MAS 200 SQL 4.50
- SI 1.00.0177 = Sage MAS 90/200 4.40
- If you are importing Report Designer Add-in (RDA) reports created in SI 2014 or lower into Sage 100 2015 or higher AND (choose applicable scenario below):
- Sage 100 Intelligence 2014 or lower HAS NOT been installed on the workstation before you must install the Report Designer Add-in program, see related article Download Sage 100 ERP Intelligence Report Designer Add-In v1.0 The reason you must do this is because the older RDA 1.0 Excel add-in does not exist.
- Sage 100 Intelligence 2014 or lower HAS been installed on the workstation you will need to manually load the Excel add-in by doing the following:
Open Excel Go to File –>Options –> Add-ins and with “Excel Add-ins” selected (toward bottom left) click GO Select Browse button and navigate C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BIExcelFunctions\32bit\ and select the “Sage.BI.ExcelFunctions.xll” file to load Report Designer Add-in 1.0.0
