    1. Note: prior to running the validation, it is recommended to stop the Accounting Task and wait until the process completes prior to creating any accounting entries in the system.
    2. Select the correct that you are increasing the screen dimension/size of an activity code.
    3. Select Complete under Validation and press the Tab key.
    4. Select Free under Validation.
       • The following check options will be selected:
         • Table validation.
         • Validation of views.
         • System class validation.
         • Class validation.
         • Link synchronization.
         • Representation validation.
         • Screen validation.
         • Generated screens.
         • Object validation.
         • Window validation.
         • Generated windows.
         • Inquiry validation.
         • Menu validation.
    5. In the Activity code, assign the activity code, such as GAS, and press Tab key.
    6. Press OK.
    7. Once the validation is complete exit out of X3 and log back in to see the changes.

Note: If you activate an activity code and the dictionary validation doesn't show/remove the elements that were expected, then a folder validation will be required (Always make a copy your folder, and perform the folder validation in a test environment before going live)
