Make sure all users are out of the software and know not to access it until the validation is complete.

Navigate to:
1. Development,Utilities, Dictionary,Validations, Dictionary
2. Ensure the correct folder is selected.
3. Click the Complete radio button and press the Tab key
4. Click the Free radio button

All options will be selected for you. You can then decide which validations are necessary and which are not.

Simply uncheck the box for the validations that are not necessary.

You will also have the option of adding filters at the bottom of the screen.

The filters can narrow the validation according to: Data type, Activity Code and Action Code.

Once you have selected your choices and you are ready to perform the validation; click OK
It is recommended to exit X3 once the validation is complete and then log back in to review the changes.
