Option I: Disable Offline Files (Sync)
- Disable Offline Files from Windows Sync Center on the workstation
- Reboot workstation
- Reinstall Sage 100 PDF Converter
- Right-click Sage 100 shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator" option
- Log into Sage 100
- Select File, Run from Sage 100 Toolbar
- Type: PL_AdvancedOptions_Ui
- Select OK
- Select OK to select default date
- Select 'Install Converter'
- Exit Paperless Office Advanced Options and try printing to Paperless again
Option II: Using the "Install PDF Converter" option in Paperless Office Advanced Options uses PDFInstall.exe to install the printer object in Windows Printer and Faxes. Occasionally, PDFInstall.exe gives you errors you are not able to resolve, thus the Amyuni printer driver is not installed. To Resolve, Manually install the Amyuni printer driver:
- Close MAS90 or MAS200
- Place the Amyuni.inf file in the ...\MAS90\Home folder
- Verify that CDINTF.dll is in the ...\MAS90\Home folder on the server, and CDINTF500.dll (or CDINTF600.dll for 2019 or higher) is in the C:\Windows\SysWow64\ folder on the workstation
- Verify that acfpdfu.dll is in the ....\MAS90\Home folder
- From the desktop, select Start > Settings, or open the Control Panel
- Double-click Devices and Printers
- Verify that you do not have a Sage 100 PDF Converter printer in your printer's folder
- In the Devices and Printers window, double-click Add Printer
- In the Add Printer Wizard window, click Next
- In the next window, select Local printer attached to this computer
- Remove the check in the Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer checkbox
- Click Next
- In the Use the following port dropdown list, select NUL
- Click Next
- In the Install Printer Software window, click Have Disk.
- Click Browse to find the copied Amyuni.inf file in the ...\MAS90\Home folder
- Select the file, then click OK
- If you receive the message "This Driver is not Digitally Signed" click Next
- The Install Printer Software window opens. The default name is 'Amyuni Document Converter'. Change the printer name to 'Sage 100 PDF Converter' (no quotes) and click Next
- In the Name your printer window, select No to the question "Do you want to use this printer as the default printer"?
- Click Next
- In the Printer Sharing window, select Do not share printer and click Next
- In the Print Test Page window, click No and click Next
- Click Finish
- You are prompted with a message that says 'The driver has not passed Windows logo testing.' Click the "Continue Anyway" button
- Click Finish and a 'Files Needed' screen appears looking for acfpdf.dll. Click Browse and point the installation to the ...\MAS90\Home\ folder. Click OK
- Go to Control Panel / Printers and Faxes and verify that the Sage PDF Converter appears as an available printer
- Log into Sage 100
- Go to File, Run, from the Sage 100 Toolbar and type in PL_AdvancedOptions_UI.
- Click OK
- Verify that the message appears 'The PDF Converter is Installed Correctly'
- Test Print a Report using Paperless Office to verify it is functioning correctly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For Sage 100 Advanced, note that the workstation's "..\MAS90\Launcher" directory (where Workstation Setup was installed) has a SOTA.INI file with a section in it referencing the Sage PDF Converter under the [Paperless] Section. If this is removed or cleared, then the Sage PDF Converter will not be added to the Printers list in Windows during Sage 100 Workstation install (or using the PL_AdvancedOptions_UI command). Also, you will not be able to uninstall the Sage PDF Converter when uninstalling Sage 100 workstation (or using PL_AdvancedOptions_UI) to Uninstall the converter.
