Error: "The Sage Fixed Assets - Premier installation cannot be completed . . . "
Description


Cause
  • The Installation program is unable to access the MSBESTSYS.CFG or MSCIPSYS.CFG in the SFASERV directory on the Server.
  • The Installation program cannot access the MSBESTSYS.CFG or MSCIPSYS.CFG because the share point is in a different folder below the server install folder, or the file is missing.
Resolution
On the server where the Premier Server components are installed:

  1. Verify the share point is set to the full SFAServ directory.
  2. Ensure the MSBESTSYS.CFG and MSCIPSYS.CFG files are located in the SFAServ folder.
  3. Run setup.exe from the SFAServ\Premier Client folder to install the client.
