When updating the Sage Fixed Assets product, but installing the Premier Server on a new Application server, it will not know about the existing SQL server and its databases and will behave as if it is a new installation.

This is not an error. It only means that this is a first time installation of the Sage Fixed Assets - Premier Depreciation server components on the specific Server or Workstation. At this point in the connection process, the program cannot see what is on the SQL Server.

You must provide the necessary information to find the SQL server and login to the SQL server as SA or equivalent user before the Configuration Database (BESTSYS or CIPSYS) can be found.

• Click OK, fill in the SQL server's name and click Next, Enter the password for SA or equivalent user, click OK, click Yes, click Next, click Finish, and then, if this was the existing SQL server, you will see a list with your current database(s)

Error: "The Sage Fixed Assets - Premier installation cannot be completed until the . . . Database Utilities have been launched at least once"
