Note: Images (attachments) can’t be imported on the assets.

You can upload images to the Image Manager now and attach them to an asset later. Or, upload them to both the Image Manager and the asset at the same time.

• Add images to the Image Manager. In Sage Fixed Assets Depreciation or Tracking, go to Customize, Image Manager:
  1. Type a new name for the image.
  2. Click Browse to select the image (See below for supported file types).
  3. Select the File Type you’ll be attaching to the asset.
  4. Select the image you want to add to Image Manager.
  5. Click Open.
     
     
• Add an image to an asset, go to the Asset Detail view of the desired asset:
  1. Click the Images tab.
  2. Click Link Images.
  3. The Image Manager will open; select the image from the File list.
  4. Click Link and click Yes to complete the process or click No to cancel.

• Supported Image Types:

  • JPEG files (*.JPG)
  • Adobe PDF files (*.PDF)
  • Graphics Interchange Format files (*.GIF)
  • Portable Network Graphic files (*.PNG)
  • TIFF files (uncompressed only) (*.TIF)
  • Windows bitmaps (*.BMP)
