Deleted transactions in Edit Register do not update bank balances
Description

Cause

If you delete any transaction from the Edit Register task after it has been posted, the deletion may not update the balances on the Cash Management bank.

Resolution
In the future, instead of deleting an entry, you may want to enter an adjusting transaction to offset the entry you want to reverse, then reconcile the entries together.

If you must delete a transaction from the Edit Register task, you may need to manually adjust the bank balances afterward. Refer to article 25292 DocLink: The Cash Management Bank Account Balance Verification report has variances for more information on correcting bank balances.
