How do I restore the default inquiries to my applications?

To restore the whole inquiry (all the views in the inquiry):

  1. In Inquiry Designer, from the Tools menu, select Inquiry Catalog.
  2. Select the application that you want to restore inquiries for. Click OK.
  3. In the Inquiry Catalog window, select the inquiry that you want to restore. You can select only one inquiry at a time.
  4. Click Transfer.
  5. Repeat steps 3-4 for each inquiry that you want to restore to the default design.
  6. Click Close when finished.

To restore a specific view in an inquiry:

  1. In Inquiry Designer, from the Tools menu, select Inquiry Catalog.
  2. Select the application that you want to restore inquiries for. Click OK.
  3. In the Inquiry Catalog window, select the inquiry that you want to restore. You can select only one inquiry at a time.
  4. Click View.
  5. Perform your inquiry jumps (drill down) to the appropriate level with the desired view.
  6. Click the transfer button [green arrow]. This will transfer that specific default view from the catalog to your user inquiry.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 for each specific inquiry view you want to restore.
  8. Click Close when finished.
