| How do I restore the default inquiries to my applications? |
Resolution | To restore the whole inquiry (all the views in the inquiry):
- In Inquiry Designer, from the Tools menu, select Inquiry Catalog.
- Select the application that you want to restore inquiries for. Click OK.
- In the Inquiry Catalog window, select the inquiry that you want to restore. You can select only one inquiry at a time.
- Click Transfer.
- Repeat steps 3-4 for each inquiry that you want to restore to the default design.
- Click Close when finished.
To restore a specific view in an inquiry:
- In Inquiry Designer, from the Tools menu, select Inquiry Catalog.
- Select the application that you want to restore inquiries for. Click OK.
- In the Inquiry Catalog window, select the inquiry that you want to restore. You can select only one inquiry at a time.
- Click View.
- Perform your inquiry jumps (drill down) to the appropriate level with the desired view.
- Click the transfer button [green arrow]. This will transfer that specific default view from the catalog to your user inquiry.
- Repeat steps 3-6 for each specific inquiry view you want to restore.
- Click Close when finished.
