| | Error: "This check has a non-zero distribution with a blank GL Expense account" |
| Cause |
An invoice missing distribution information causes Accounts Payable to reject a check or payment.
When you record a Manual check, Quick check, EFT payment (Electronic), or Credit card payment for an invoice missing a key piece of distribution information, such as the General Ledger account, you may see the error message when you accept the check or payment.

- Use Option I if you entered the invoice as a new invoice in the Record Manual Checks/Print Quick Checks task or in the Record Payments by Credit Card task.

Option I: One or more of the invoice entries has a blank row of distribution
- Starting with the last invoice entered, press ENTER to move through the invoice grid until the distribution grid appears.
