In order to add totals to the bottom of the Check Activity with Detail report, you must customize the design with the IDs in Payroll that are unique to the company using the report. The design attached below provides totals for the Pay IDs, Deduction IDs, and Fringe IDs that you enter into the prompt fields. There are instructions in the design notes on how to add custom totals that do not involve the prompt fields.

Note: If you use the same deduction or fringe ID for more than one union for the same employee, the totals for that deduction or fringe may be understated. The record accessed by the lookup formula does not include this information (PR Check). Print the union reports provided in the application for union deduction and fringe totals (Reports, Union Reporting).
