Sage BusinessWorks Service Packs include tax updates. To ensure you’re receiving notification of tax table updates, you’ll need to register for Community Hub notifications. 

Manually update SUI or SDI limits

1. PR, Taxes, Maintain Tax Tables.
2. Click and select your State. The State will display the SUI or SDI limits.
    NOTE: To edit SUI or SDI rates go to PR, Taxes, Activates States.
3. Click Allowances, Limits, and Rates....
4. Enter the limit.
5. Click OK.
6. Select Save.

Manually update Federal limits (OASDI, FICA, FUTA)

1. PR, Taxes, Maintain Tax Tables.
2. Click and select US Federal.
3. Select Allowances, Limits, and Rates....
4. Enter the limit.
5. Click OK.
6. Select Save.

Sage BusinessWorks calculates percentage-based taxes (like OASDI, Medicare, SDI, SUI, and FUTA) based on year-to-date taxable pay, not just the current pay period. For more details, check out How percentage-based taxes are calculated.
