How can I see unposted transactions in Property Management?
Description
Cause
Resolution

Note: Only transactions that are associated with tenants and leases appear in the inquiry and report listed in this solution. If you have any property-based or General Ledger adjustment transactions, they do not appear. For example, Miscellaneous Income payments are associated with properties, and vacancy loss and straight line rent entries are General Ledger adjustment transactions, so these types of transactions do not appear on the inquiry and report listed in this solution.

Use the Transaction Information inquiry to easily view unposted tenant entries:

  1. From the Property Management Inquiry menu, select Transaction Information.
  2. In the Transaction File Selection window, select New and then click OK.
  3. If you have any unposted tenant entries, they appear in this inquiry. If you have no unposted tenant entries, you receive a message that the PM Transaction file was not found.

Use the Transaction by Lease report to view and print unposted entries:

  1. From the Property Management Reports menu, select Reconciliation, Transactions by Lease.
  2. In the Data File Selection window, select PM Transaction (new) and click OK.
    • Note: If PM Transaction (new) is unavailable, you have no unposted tenant/lease entries.
  3. In the Transactions by Lease Print Selection window, click Print Preview.
