1. In Financial Statement Designer, from the Tools menu, select Prefix Groups.
2. Type a unique name for the prefix group in the Prefix group box and press TAB.
3. Type a Description for the new prefix group.
   Tip: Because you can include this field in the header of your financial statement design, you may want to type a detailed description.
4. Select the appropriate Type from the list.
5. If you select Custom prefix group in the Type list, click Enter Prefixes to enter the appropriate prefixes for the prefix group.
