| How do I change the bank account on new or processed Payroll checks? |
Description | After entering time or processing payroll, you may need to change the bank account that has been assigned to the check. Generating Direct Deposits or Print Checks after changing the bank gives the message "No Information to Print". |
Resolution | To change the bank account on check(s) with a Status of New, Altered, or Processed, go into the Enter Checks task:- Go to Tasks, Enter Checks.
- Choose a view. Press OK without changing the Period Begin Date field.
- Enter the Employee ID and Period End Date that are on the check you want to change, and press enter twice.
- Click on the Check Info button.
- Change the bank account in the top left corner. Hit Okay when done, then Accept Check, and Finish.
To change the default bank account for new checks, correct the bank account on the Pay Group: - From the Setup menu, select Pay Groups.
- Enter the correct bank account for the Pay Group.
- Click Accept line, then Accept table.
