How to reset Sage 100 ERP Application Server Configuration to default settings
Description
Cause
  • Application Server configuration is damaged
  • the SAGE selection doesn’t show on the Server: dropdown list in Application Server Configuration.
Resolution

  1. Have ALL users exit Sage 100 ERP
  2. Stop the Sage 100 ERP Application Service
  3. Open …MAS90\Home\Lib\_AppServ\
  4. Rename the following files
    • apps.pvk to apps.old
    • locate.pvk to locate.old
    • server.pvk to server.old
    • sessions.pvk to sessions.old
  5. Open ...MAS90\Home\
  6. Double-click pvxwin32.exe
  7. Click OK
  8. Type: o=new(“sy_installation”)
  9. Note: this command starts with an o (as in oxygen, not a zero)
  10. Press Enter
  11. Type: o’configuremas200(“C:\Sage\...\MAS90”)
    1. Critical step: Enter the path to the MAS90 directory on the client's system inside the parentheses, and this command starts with an o as in oxygen, not a zero, followed by a single quote.
  12. Open Start, All Programs, Sage, Sage 100 ERP, Application Server Configuration
  13. Select Server tab
  14. Enter Socket (Port) number
  15. Deselect the KeepAlives option
  16. Select Apply
  17. Select Exit
  18. Start Sage 100 ERP Application Service
