Deductions, fringes, or taxes may not calculate correctly.
Resolution

If you do not close the month and you process or print checks, the information that processes may not be correct. Deductions, fringes, or taxes that have Month to date or Quarter to date limits may not calculate or may not calculate correctly. The basis for these limits do not reset until you close the month.

  • If you only processed your payroll, you can close the month and then reprocess.
  • If you have printed your checks and need to make corrections, you must void the checks to make any corrections.
