This issue is a permissions issue, usually having to do with User Account Control (UAC) on the workstation or on the server.

To test permissions, do the following:

1. Right click Sage 100 shortcut and Run as Administrator.
2. Change the repository path and note that the system will allow you to do so.

To resolve, do the following:

• It is recommended to turn off User Account Control (UAC) before reinstalling.

2. Reboot workstation.
