[BCB:5:Third-party support:ECB] Error occurs on one workstation If the error occurs on only one workstation, restart the Pervasive service on that workstation. Error occurs on the server and all workstations Restart the Pervasive service on the server. NOTE: If restarting the service doesn't resolve the issue, it indicates a corrupt Global folder and requires a restore from backup. The Global folder location is C:\ProgramData\Sage\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting. - Have all users exit Sage 300 CRE.
- Locate a recent backup of the Global folder.
- Restoreoverwriteup to the server's desktop. Don't overwrite the existing Global folder.
- Locate the existing Global in either C:\ProgramData\Sage\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sage\Timberline Office\9.5\Accounting.
- Rename the Global folder to Global-old.
- Copy and paste the Global folder that you restored to your desktop.
- Run Configuration Hub.
NOTE: If you don't have a backup, contact Support to obtain a blank Global folder. Using a blank Global folder requires to set up security again. |
