| Cause | | Reports and payroll checks showing an amount in vacation YTD that differs from the Vacation Remaining amount. |
| Resolution |
- Vacation YTD amount is based on how many vacation hours have been accrued on each pay check for the year up to the current pay period.
- If vacation hours have been taken or used, then the vacation remaining amount will naturally be different as Vacation YTD does not take that into consideration. This is especially true if the Vacation Remaining amount is in the negative.
- Refer to Article ID 10633 (How do I find the number of vacation or sick hours taken?) in Related Resources for more information on finding out where these amounts reside in payroll reports.
- Refer to Article ID 28676 (Vacation Accrued does not show the employees vacation hours) in Related Resources for more information ff the Vacation Accrued field is not showing any hours.
