Recompile Menus in Sage 100

Before you begin

CAUTION:

Running SY_Menu_UI and selecting Reset resets menus to their default settings.

A reset performs the following actions:
  • Resets menus to match data stored in the SY_MenuDefault file.
  • Removes custom reports from menus. Re-add them manually.
  • Resets manual changes in the MNUMOD.TXT file.
  • Restores menus to factory settings, similar to resetting an electronic device.
If custom programming added menu entries and stored them in SY_MenuDefault, those entries remain available. Otherwise, the reset removes them and you must add them again.
