Make a backup of the Sage 100 ERP SQL database and restore on New Server
- Open SQL Server Management Studio
- Log into Database Engine
- Open Databases by click +
- Make a backup of the MAS_System and MAS_XXX (XXX= company code)
- Right-click each database and select Task, Backup
- Restore the MAS_System and MAS_XXX (XXX= company code) databases on new server
Install Sage 100 ERP Premium on new server and merge system files
- Start Sage 100 ERP Premium installation on new server
- On the Database Server Login screen, Enter Login ID and Password and click Next
- Message Warning The installation has detected an existing MAS_System database on 'SQLServerName'
Click Ok to merge your new system files with this database, or click Cancel to select a different SQL server. Click OK to merge new installation with the restored MAS_System database.

Setup Sage 100 ERP Premium service for new installation
- Open Sage 100 ERP Application Server Configuration
- Click Server tab
- Enter desired Port and uncheck Keep Alives
- Click Apply then Exit
- Open Application Server Service Setup click OK
- Open Windows Service console
- Select Sage 100 Premium ERP (XXXX) service (XXXX=Port)
- Click Log On tab and enter Account information. Note: This account should be a Domain account, with local Administrator privileges, and sufficient permissions to all Sage 100 ERP resources.
- Click Apply and Start service
Copy MAS90 directory from old server to new server
- Have all users exit Sage 100 ERP
- On old server open Windows Service console and Stop the Sage 100 ERP Premium and Sage 100 ERP Integration Engine services
- Copy the ..\MAS90\ folder from the old server to the new server temporary location
Run Pre-migration to backup source data
- Log into Sage 100 ERP
- Open Library Master, Utilities, Pre-Migration
- Enter the UNC path to the source installation (i.e. \\servername\sharename\..\MAS90)
- Click Proceed

Run Parallel Migration Utility
- On the new server stop the Sage 100 ERP Premium and Sage 100 ERP Integration Engine services
- Make a backup of the ..\MAS90 folder of the new installation
- Browse to the new installation ..\MAS90\Migration\ folder
- Open Migrate.exe and Click Next
- Select Sage 100 ERP Premium radio button
- Check the Above steps have been performed check box. Click Next
- Enter Database Server Login information of the Target SQL Server. Click Next
- Enter the password for the new Sage 100 ERP Premium installation. Click Next
- Enter the UNC path to the Source installation ..\MAS90\folder. Click Next
- Enter the Database Server Login information of Source SQL Server. Click Next
- Enter the password for Sage 100 ERP Premium Source installation. Click Next twice
- Select Yes on the Migrate Companies screen. Click Next
- Select Companies to migrate from source installation
Note: Exist appears next to the company name because the company code exist in the SY_Company table. However the MAS_XXX (XXX=Company Code) folder does not exist under the destination ..\MAS90\ directory. You will need to select the companies you want to migrate from source company.

- Click Next twice to start Migration
