Change the period end date for Payroll checks with daily time
Description
Cause
Resolution

When you use the Modify Period End Date task to change the end date, it also changes the daily time entry dates. The distribution retains the same number of days from the period end date when it updates.

  • You can only use Modify Period End Date on unposted checks that you haven't printed.
  • You can use Change Unposted Time to change the daily time dates after modifying the period end date.
  • If you printed or accrued the checks, void the check before modifying.

See steps to modify the period end date in Payroll.
