Option 2: Restore the Global folder (or master.qxm and PVData\master_qxm) from backup Option 3: Refer to the solutions in article Reports/inquiries are missing on the report/inquiry menu and/or in Security Administration Option 4: Rebuild the Security file (QXM) from a blank Global folder (see article INTERNAL tracking cases where Sage 300 CRE Security has to be rebuilt) - Warning: Do not replace the Global folder if the customer has Document Management. Document Management uses the security user GUID unique to each Global folder. It does not link via the user name. Replacing the Global folder will cause Document Management to be out of sync and to not function correctly.
Option 5: If the above do not correct the issue, obtain the following files and information for review and assign the ticket to Technical Escalation - Exact version of the software, including revision and update numbers.
- master.qxm from the Global folder including master_qxm inside the Global\PVData folder (default location is C:\ProgramData\Sage\TIMBERLINE OFFICE\9.5\Accounting\Global)
- Note: Can use File Tools to backup the file, unless the file is too big. Then will need to zip/compress it through Windows Explorer. Can opt to send the entire Global folder but it may be very large because of the Log Viewer file (master.qlm).
- Report folder: Default location is C:\ProgramData\Sage\TIMBERLINE OFFICE\9.5\Accounting\Report
- Inquiry folder: Default location is C:\ProgramData\Sage\TIMBERLINE OFFICE\9.5\Accounting\Inquiry.
- List of reports, inquiries, and/or tasks that are missing.
