How to create a new custom paper size for a printer

Note: Sage 100 Customer Support cannot assist with customizing Crystal Reports forms or reports, nor with troubleshooting errors or issues that may arise from modified Crystal Reports forms or reports. For more information, see the Related Resources section.

Create the new custom paper size:

  1. For Windows 7: Click Start, then click Devices and Printers
    For Windows 8: Right-click the bottom left corner of the screen (or press the Windows button on the keyboard), click Search for to look for and select Devices and Printers.
  2. In Devices and Printers:
    1. Click on the printer to select it
    2. Click Print server properties at the top
  3. In Print Server Properties, Forms tab, select the Create a new form check box
  4. In the Form name text box, type a name for the new paper size
  5. In the Form description (measurements) section, select Metric or English
  6. In the Height and Width text boxes, type the height and width for your custom paper
  7. Leave the Printer area margins set at "0.00"
  8. Click Save Form, and then click Close

Note: Do not create a custom paper size with dimensions larger or smaller than the printer's supported sizes, or the paper may not work properly.
