Resolution

Note: Crystal Reports will attempt to export data and translate to the new format desired, but the end result may not preserve all aspects of formatting.

  1. Open the task window for the form, journal, register, or report. Click Preview
    • Example: Open Accounts Payable, Reports menu, Accounts Payable Trial Balance. Click Preview
    • Example: Open Sales Order, Main menu, Sales Order Printing. Click Preview
    • Example: Open Inventory Management, Main menu, Transaction Register. Click Preview
  2. In the Crystal Preview window that opens, click the Export Report icon
  3. In the Export window that opens, choose:
    • Format: This may be Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Microsoft Excel, Separated Values (CSV), Text, etc.
    • Destination: Disk (prompts a save to a file location) or Application (a command will be sent to Windows to launch the file type in an associated application)
