Cause | Adding inbound/outbound firewall port rules will allow Pervasive/Actian to more easily communicate through the Windows firewall. |
Resolution | [BCB:3:Network warning:ECB]
[BCB:4:Operating system warning:ECB]
[BCB:5:Third-party support:ECB]
- Start, Control Panel, Windows Firewall
- Advanced Settings
- Select Inbound Rules
- Click New Rule
- Click Port, and Next
- Select TCP
- Enter the following numbers: 3351, 1583, 137, 138, 139
- Allow the connection, Next
- Type a Name for the port rules, and a description if desired, Finish
- Select Outbound Rules
- Repeat steps 3a-f above.
