State unemployment wages are incorrect in eFiling for Sage 100

Note: This resolution does not apply to Sage 100 2018 or later. PR_40 is a legacy data file.

If you installed the tax tables (where the applicable state unemployment limit had changed) after an employee had reached the unemployment limit, it may cause the unemployment taxable wages to be incorrect. You can modify the PR_40xxx.soa file (xxx=company code) to correct the applicable state pay check record where the employee reached the limit. See related article, How to edit PR_40 file. The field you will need to verify is the Employer FUTA/SUTA Wages POST Limit field.
