Summary of installation steps

1. Locate your Sage Timeslips Premium product information.
2. Install Sage Timeslips Premium on your Windows workstation.
3. Launch the Sage Timeslips Premium application.

Install Sage Timeslips Premium

Install Sage Timeslips using the installer link provided in your Product Activation email.

1. Double-click SageTimeslips20xxPremium.exe.
2. Choose Install Sage Timeslips from the splash screen.
3. Accept the software license agreement.
4. Enter the activation key from the Product Activation email.
5. Select the installation location.
   • 32-bit systems: C:\Program Files\Timeslips\
   • 64-bit systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\Timeslips\
6. Complete the installation.
7. Start Sage Timeslips Premium.

Sage recommends installing under the local C: drive.

Workstation considerations

• Sage recommends the default path C:\Program Files (x86)\Timeslips\.
• You can choose a different local path if needed.
• Install Sage Timeslips while physically logged in to the workstation.
• You can’t install the software remotely from another network machine.

Find your serial number and activation key

You need your serial number and activation key for installation, registration, and support.

Sage sends this information in a Product Activation email shortly after purchase.

Understand single-user configurations

A single-user installation includes one station license.
Invoices show this as User Count 00001.

Common single-user setups include:

• One computer storing both program files and the database locally.
• One networked workstation storing the database locally on that workstation.

Note: A single-user license doesn’t support storing the database on a shared network drive.

Convert an existing database

If you need to convert an existing database after installation, follow converting your Sage Timeslips data.
