(Ref: 202014) Issue #3: After undoing bill approval for a client, there was a rare case that balances on bills or in Billing Assistant could appear incorrect for that client. Timeslips Premium now accounts for these characters and imports them properly. (Ref: 285850)
Issue # 2: Fixed broken links to the Timeslisp Resource Center Links from eCenter/Go messages in Timeslips Premium to the Timeslips Resource Center were not working. All links from Timeslips Premium to the Resource Center are now working.(Ref: 287796)
Issue # 3: Improved speed of Go data transfers. The transfer process to send slips from Timeslips Go to Timeslips Premium could take several minutes. This process has been optimized to now take seconds (Ref: 287795) Service Release for September 2025 (Timeslip Premium) adds the following enhancements: Enhancement #1: Importing payment details Details: Some firms receive or generate lists of payments to use as a guide when entering those payments manually in Timeslips. An example of this is a firm that works with insurance companies; the insurance company may pay off claims for multiple clients at once, sending a spreadsheet or comma-separated file with details of the batch of payments. Using the Import Payments dialog box (select Transactions > Import Payments), you can now import those payment details to streamline the process of entering batches of payments. (Ref: 244714) Enhancement #2: Increase the size of Abbreviation tokens Details: Abbreviations (select Setup > Abbreviations) allow you to set up tokens that expand to words, phrases, or sentences when triggered. The length of abbreviation tokens has been increased to 15 characters, allowing you to set up more complex tokens or word replacement schemes. (Ref: 353416) Enhancement #3: Update Sage Timeslips Go dashboard Details: If your firm uses Timeslips Go to enter slips remotely, you can use the Sage Timeslips Go dashboard (select Special > Timeslips Go) to review updates and transfer data. Some firms access Timeslips Go through a remote session, like Remote Desktop and depending on their setup, the dashboard might not fit on their screen, cutting off some options. Several improvements have been made to the Sage Timeslips Go dashboard, including: - The dashboard now uses a smaller footprint to fit better on smaller screens.
- Some options are now available through right-click, so you can access them even when they are not onscreen.
- We've improved descriptions for some transfer notifications and error conditions.
(Ref: 343253) Enhancement #4: Downloading slips from Timeslips Go by date Details: If your firm uses Timeslips Go to enter slips remotely, you must download those slips to Timeslips Premium so you can include them on your bills. The Sage Timeslips Go dashboard (select Special > Timeslips Go) provides many options to download your Timeslips Go slips. Two new options allow you to download Timeslips Go slips within a specified date range: "Download completed slips by date" and "Download all slips by date". (Ref: 254297) Service Release for September 2025 addresses the following issues: Issue #1: Extended characters may transfer from Timeslips Go incorrectly When working with Timeslips Go, some firms will include extended characters in their slip descriptions. For example, users may write narratives in applications such as Microsoft Word, which can auto-replace characters with extended characters, then the users paste them into their slip descriptions in Timeslips Go. Some of these extended characters could transfer to Timeslips Premium incorrectly with random characters; examples include em dashes (—), en dashes (–), and accented letters such as á, é, and ñ. Timeslips Premium now transfers these characters properly. (Ref: 347372) Issue # 2: Timeslips Go transfer could fail due to new logins If you created a new login for Timeslips Go, but they did not yet log into Timeslips Go, the transfer process could fail. This scenario no longer prevents a transfer. (Ref: 347406) Issue # 3: Billing rates may not transfer for new or updated Timeslips Go timekeepers After initially transferring data, if you added or updated timekeepers then billing rates for those timekeepers may not transfer to Timeslips Go properly. Now when you update the timekeeper email in Timeslips Premium, it will force all billing rates associated with that timekeeper to transfer. (Ref: 347407) Issue # 4: Blank billing status could result from editing a slip in Timeslips Go If an activity has a default Billing Status of Ignore in Timeslips Premium and you have the "Always enforce default billing status when changing clients on slips" option marked in General Settings in Timeslips Go, then editing a slip with that activity in Timeslips Go and changing clients may result in a blank Billing Status. (Ref: 352376) Issue # 5: Incorrect field labels may appear for some address fields in Client Information Depending on your version of Windows, some address fields within the Contact Info page of Client Information could have the wrong field labels. Timeslips now checks for country codes in multiple ways, in case your registry settings have changed. (Ref: 298281) Issue # 6: In Time Sheet Slip Entry, the quick template does not use nickname settings In several areas in Timeslips, you can choose to view names by nickname 1 or nickname 2 (using the right-click menu) and Timeslips will remember that setting the next time you are in that area. Timeslips Premium was not remembering that setting in Time Sheet Slip Entry (select Slips > Time Sheet > Slip Entry) when you exited the timesheet and returned. Timeslips Premium is remembering that setting now. (Ref: 347835) Issue # 7: In Time Sheet Slip Entry, you cannot apply slip abbreviations When entering slip descriptions for time sheet entries, you can right-click in the Description field and choose Abbreviations to access your abbreviations. When viewing the list of abbreviations this way, clicking Apply did not work. You can now apply abbreviations to descriptions when using the time sheet. (Ref: 347836)
