| Error: "12 SY_RebuildFile_Bus.pvc 499" when running the Rebuild Key Files utility |
Cause | The Rebuild Key Files utility is attempting to open an additional segmented key file that it is expecting, but it cannot find it. Either it does not exist, or there is a Windows security/permissions issue. |
Resolution | [BCB:1:Backup warning:ECB]
- Check if there is a Windows security/permissions issue. For example, try logging onto the server as a Domain Administrator and running the utility.
- A segmented data file (ending in *.M4T.001, or *.M4T.002, etc.) that belongs to a primary data file may have been deleted or removed by mistake - such as perhaps during a file clean-up process targeting obsolete files. For more information on segmented data files, see the Related Resources section below.
- Restore data from backup. Depending on circumstances, the solution may be as simple a restoring the missing segmented file, or may require restoring the main file and associated segmented files from the same backup - or in more severe circumstances where partial recovery would cause data to be out-of-sync, restoring data files for a module or even an entire company.
