| How to change the Desktop view between Classic or Standard in Sage 100 |
Description | Note: The Standard view is only available to customers that subscribe to the Sage 100c support plan in Sage 100 versions 2016 - 2019.
Note: If somehow you get the Classic Desktop in Sage 100 2020 or higher, check for another Workstation Setup client install for a previous version of Sage 100. You may have to uninstall that previous version, rename the "Sage 100" folder on the workstation's "C:\Users\<Windows account>\Documents" folder, and reinstall the Workstation Setup client for Sage 100 2020 or higher. |

Note: The Classic Desktop view is not available in Sage 100 2020 and higher.
The first time you access Sage 100 version 2016 through 2019 from a workstation, it will prompt you to choose the Desktop view (Classic or Standard). If you would like to change this view afterwards, please follow the steps below.
- Browse to the local MAS90 folder on the computer. (ie: C:\Sage\Sage 100 Workstation 2016\MAS90)
- Click on the Launcher folder.
- Click on the Launch32.exe file.
- Select the correct view.
- Click OK and the changes will be applied the next time you open the program.
Or
- Open Launcher sign-in, type in user name, tab,
- Click Settings button, toward the bottom of the pop up, change the drop down next to "Desktop" to either classic or standard.
- Finish signing in and new desktop will display.

Possible Workaround:
- Browse to user's Documents folder (C:\users\username\Documents)
- Rename 'Sage 100' folder
- Open Sage 100
- Select choice of Classic or Standard Desktop
- Select OK
- Standard Desktop View is only available in Sage 100c
- Sage 100c is available to customers purchasing a new subscription support plan
- Note: Renaming the "Sage 100" folder for the system to create a new one, may result in loss of the user's "Favorites".
