No companies listed or company missing when archiving in Database Administration in Sage 100 Contractor SQL
Description


Cause
  1. The user logged into Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor is not a Company Administrator in the company database.
  2. The incorrect SQL Server name displayed in the Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor Connect to SQL Server window.
  3. The posting period in menu option 1-6, Period/Fiscal Year Management, is not set to Period 1 or later of the next fiscal year you intend to archive.
Resolution


  1. Ensure the user connecting to Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor is an Administrator in the company database planned for archiving.
  2. Close and reconnect to Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor and select the correct SQL Server name from the Connect to SQL Server window.
  3. Connect to the company database as Administrator. Verify the default posting period in 1-6 Period Fiscal Year Management is advanced to Period 1 or later of the fiscal year following the fiscal year you intend to archive
