The 7 Day Grace Period
Description
Cause

When the number of computers/users exceed the limit (number of seats purchased + 1), there is an additional seven-day grace period.

Resolution
If the grace period expires, the client will not be accessible until you license the machine. For more information, see Managing User Licenses in Sage Fixed Assets.

From the Out of Licenses dialog, click Continue to activate this one-time only function. The unlicensed client(s) will function normally for those seven days.

A Remaining Grace Period countdown screen will display when the application opens during the grace period. Once the seven-day grace period ends, all unlicensed clients will get a message showing the grace period expired.
Click Purchase to go to the Sage Fixed Asset’s website to learn more about purchasing additional seats or click OK to close the dialog and exit the program.
You can only activate the seven-day grace period once.
