This message is to warn you before you attempt to run Payroll Tax Calculation, note once payroll tax calculation is run for more employees than your tier limit the 45 day grace period can not be reset without increasing your payroll tier. You may continue to process payroll until the date noted in the error message. After that date, you will only be able to process payroll up to your tier limit, you will not be given a 2nd chance grace period. If you need to increase your tier limit please call 1-888-721-8989 as soon as possible to adjust your current payroll tier.
To verify Employee Payroll Tier, in Sage 100, click File, Run and enter *INFO
You may also click Cancel in this message and go back into Payroll Data Entry and delete entries so you do not exceed your payroll tier.
If the tier exceeded is questionable based on the calculation information do the following.
- Customer Account #
- Contact Information
- Is the customer receiving PR Tier has been exceeded warning message, and still have 45 day grace period? What is the date in *info for exceeded tier count?
- Is the customer attempting to do Payroll but have gone past their grace period and cannot proceed with tax calculation?
- Exact version and Update that are installed.
- Analyst to Verify correct product keys are activated (Library Master, System Configuration, Registration tab matches Fusion).
- Analyst to Use Sage 100 Key Validation utility to confirm "Employee payroll tier" count in Library Master, System Configuration, Modules tab matches Fusion
- Call (800) 854-3415 to open a new support ticket then email [email protected] the following files:
- Sy_System.m4t
- Sy_ActivityLog.m4t
- Sy_metering.m4t
- Use File, Registration from the desktop menu to access the System Configuration as shown below:

NOTE: Users are to remain out of Sage 100 until the corrected files are replaced.
